We pride ourselves and work very hard on providing two very different dining experiences at the Stewart Hotel. We are always mindful and appreciative that, as a distinctive hotel located in the Scottish Highlands with a truly international clientele, we should at all times provide traditional and locally sourced products and as a result this is always reflected in our menus. Our brigade of skilled chefs are constantly striving to deliver our guests an amazing dining experience.

Hotel Bar

We aim to provide the finest homemade traditional food on our bar menu, along with a warm, cosy and traditional atmosphere. Dishes include local Loch Etive mussels, cullen skink, scotch broth, venison sausages and mash, Aberdeen Angus steak and Scottish ale pie plus many more dishes, such as clootie dumpling for dessert. A well stocked bar is available including a fantastic choice of single malt whiskies from local and national distilleries of distinction. We have regular live entertainment and for those cold days a roaring log fire completes the scene.

Restaurant

Our restaurant offers guests a very different dining experience, again only using the finest of locally sourced ingredients. Our chefs create some fabulous cuisine and the menu changes to reflect seasonal variation. Sample dishes include local hand dived scallops served with a mint pea puree, loin of venison served with potato and parsnip rosti and a rich red wine reduction, and locally caught seabass with a saffron butter sauce. Our wine list has been carefully selected to accompany our style of cuisine.

Beer Garden

Our beer garden, which is open from April to September, boasts the most stunning panoramic views the west highlands has to offer and is the ideal place to sit and relax and ponder. Our al fresco menu is simple yet delightful, again using locally sourced produce. Dishes include locally caught langoustines with garlic butter and wholemeal bread, atlantic lobster served as you choose, and venison burgers. This is the perfect setting to relax and take in the spirit of the highlands. Barbecues can be arranged for groups of six or more guests.
