- Vertical Descents - Canyoning and fun yaking in Inchree. Just 10 to 12 minutes drive from the hotel.
- The Ice Factor – The ultimate day out in the Scottish Highlands at the UK's premier adventure centre - indoor ice and rock climbing. Just 15 minutes drive from the hotel.
- Ballachulish House Golf Course – It is a challenging 5038 yard, par 68/65 course, with spectacular views to Loch Linnhe and the Munros to the north. Just 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
- Mountain Biking – Off Beat Bikes in Fort William – bike hire. We have bikes to hire. Please ask the reception.
- Castle Stalker - Just 8 to 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

"The Jacobite" Steam Train
"The Jacobite" steam train, star of the Harry Potter films, follows the famous Road to the Isles, combining the romance of steam with beautiful scenery. From the foot of Ben Nevis, the line opened in 1901, and passes mountains, sea and inland lochs on the trip to Mallaig, as well as going over the famous Glenfinnan viaduct.

Fort William Cruises
The whole family will enjoy a cruise along Loch Linnhe, full of splendor and wildlife, on board the comfortable cruiser "Souter’s Lass".
Sail past modern fish farms and on to some of the finest views of Ben Nevis, before watching a colony of seals playing on an island a few miles from Fort William pier.
Nevis Range
Don't miss the chance to ride in Britain's only mountain gondola (on the Nevis Range), an exhilarating trip up Aonach Mor ( 4006 feet ), beside Ben Nevis.
The gondola trip takes you effortlessly up to an altitude of 2150ft. As your journey unfolds, the views looking north across Loch Lochy, or west over Loch Eil and the inner Hebrides become even more impressive.
There are several marked walks to enjoy on the mountain. Mountain Bikers can descend the 2000ft downhill track between mid May-mid September using the gondola for an easy ride up.
